The Remote Mac extension allows you to anonymously use an actual remote macOS machine for free for 20 minutes at a time. The remote machine has multiple versions of Xcode and iOS simulators preinstalled so you can run your iOS apps on simulators or make changes to Xcode projects without owning a Mac yourself.
You start the session with a clean virtual macOS machine. At the end of the session, the remote machine is destroyed and any data you may have uploaded is wiped out.
Latest Xcode versions are always available. Check out the full list of preinstalled software here.
Using Remote Mac on Windows
A VNC client is required to use the extension on Windows. Once you start a session, you'll see a notification containing an IP address, username and password for establishing the connection using the VNC client.
You have 20 minutes to upload and download files, run applications and explore the machine.
You'll be notified of the nearing session end 1 minute before the session expires.
Note that if you are disconnected during an active session and reconnect before the 20 minutes is up, you will be connected to the same machine you initially connected to.
