Dedalow Coding VS code extension

Dedalow Coding is an AI-powered code assistant that makes cutting down your coding time. Dedalow Coding turns natural language prompts, including comments, method names, and code chunks, into coding suggestions across dozens of languages in the most popular IDEs.

Requirements

To use this extension you must have been register on Dedalow Coding.

Commands

This extension contributes the following commands:

• dedalowcoding.openDedalowCoding (Win:ctrl+8 | Mac:shift+8): Open Dedalow Coding using the selected text as an input prompt.
• dedalowcoding.openRunDedalowCoding (Win:ctrl+9 | Mac:shift+9): Execute Dedalow Coding using the selected text as an input prompt.
• dedalowcoding.appendText (Win:ctrl+0 | Mac:shift+0): Append after the cursor the resulting suggestion.
• dedalowcoding.replaceText (Win:ctrl+1 | Mac:shift+1): Replace the selected text in your editor with the resulting suggestion.
• dedalowcoding.copyText (Win:ctrl+2 | Mac:shift+2): Copy to clipboard the resulting suggestion.
• dedalowcoding.runDedalowCoding (Win:ctrl+enter | Mac:shift+enter): Execute Dedalow Coding using the input prompt.

Known Issues

The size of the code we can process and generate nowadays is limited, so it is possible that the instructions are too long and we cannot generate code.

This version has UI improvements that make it easier to use the extension. This version will only allow one execution of Dedalow at the same time. Also, change the style of the buttons of the input and output to show icons instead of labels.
